At PrepWise, security is built into our core architecture. We implement multi-layered safeguards to ensure candidate data, uploaded CVs, and authentication sessions are protected at all times.

1. Data Isolation & Access Controls

We enforce strict multi-tenant access rules using Google Firebase & Firestore Security Rules. User documents, resume uploads, and interview session states are accessible strictly by the authenticated account owner.

2. Transport & Storage Encryption

  • In-Transit: All platform traffic is encrypted using TLS 1.3 (HTTPS) end-to-end.
  • At-Rest: User documents and database records stored in cloud infrastructure leverage AES-256 server-side encryption.
  • Passwords: Authentication secrets are hashed with salted PBKDF2/Bcrypt algorithms.

🛡ī¸ Session Security: Every state-modifying action on PrepWise is protected with CSRF token verification and strict HTTP headers.

3. Vulnerability Management

ByteGlow Tech Solutions conducts regular security reviews of API endpoints, file upload validation filters, and dependency packages to prevent unauthorized access.
